Fabrica Aurora - San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

Fabrica Aurora is an old textile mill reconverted into a complex of galleries.  Within walking distance, as everything we've experienced in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. It's a smart looking building with a lot of open spaces, galleries and a couple of eateries.  We spent our morning strolling in and out of art spaces, all so very interesting.

Early one morning we heard a strange series of sounds that were foreign to our ears.  We scurried up the metal staircase to the rooftop terrace of our casita.  What a delight to see hot air balloons hovering over our neighborhood, seemingly close enough to reach up and touch.  All this from our casita in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Saint Michael, patron saint

Sunday 10-1-2017 We've been in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for two weeks.  And we've experienced two weeks of ceremonies, parades and other festivities.  Non-stop.  This town is not only family friendly, community oriented and rich in culture, but it loves to party!  People are out on the streets all day and late into the night.  Whether at cafes and restaurants, or at their beloved central square, namely El Jardin.  We love it!
